Whitewater School 2010 is history and what a story it was. Many thanks to all that provided, volunteered, attended, or whatever. All the attitudes of giving that make this event what it is. It takes the work of so many to succeed as it does. A lot of work... but a lot of fun.

If you are interested in instruction, read about the instruction the ACC offers in June on the Spring River (School of Recreational Paddling)!

Many of you have been aware of and perhaps vexed by many technical problems we have had with the message board dating back several months: the auto login feature stopped working and some people could no longer pull the site up on some computers. With our webmaster/message board administrator positions currently vacant, we struggled to work out these bugs, and each new attempt to resolve old problems seemed to bring new issues. Happily, we appear to FINALLY have resolved the major issues which caused these technical glitches, and more recently, the repeated crashes.

You'll notice the board now is back to a user-friendly address: http://forums.arkansascanoeclub.com. If you do not regularly clear your computer's cache and delete old cookies, then you might have trouble logging in at the message board or staying logged in the first time you visit at the new url. If you clear your browser's cache and cookies (or at least the "phpBB3" cookies associated with our message board), then your login should work again. If you are not sure how to clear cookies, you can find instructions here:
    http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cookies

Thank you to everyone for your patience as we worked to resolve these problems.

    Classes fill quickly...register early!

Details about the 2010 School of Whitewater Paddling are now available on the website under Events.

Registration will open March 8, 2010.  Classes fill up quickly, so individuals should register early.

    Did you know...

That 2010 will be the 35th year of this annual event? THIRTY-FIVE YEARS!!! That's impressive!

What the heck is TEFKACS??? Why that's what the School of Whitewater Paddling is: it's The Event Formerly Known As Canoe School. Actually, you'll still hear a lot of folks still call the event "Canoe School."

Scores of volunteers donate their time, energy, and expertise to make this annual event successful every year.
